We are a privately funded quantum-centric company investing in various aspects of quantum technology. It is our utmost belief that quantum computing possesses the capability to make the world a better place for all. It is our goal to assist this emerging technology and the scientists at the forefront of quantum advancement for the greater good of all.
A quantum computer is any device that processes and computes qubits as per the instructions written in quantum algorithms. The difference between A quantum computer and the conventional computer is that this computer exploits quantum mechanical phenomena to run algorithms. Instead of retrieving data from the hard drive and processing with logical gates as conventional computers do, quantum computers on the other hand process data by bombarding information containing molecules with a short pulse of radiations. Our focus primarily involves quantum computers based upon ion-trap or superconducting technology.
Quantum biology is the study of applications of quantum mechanics and theoretical chemistry to aspects of biology that cannot be accurately described by the classical laws of physics. An understanding of fundamental quantum interactions is important because they determine the properties of the next level of organization in biological systems. We actively seek investment in all modalities of health care delivery, with a focus on efforts directed at protein modeling and gene editing. Additionally, we are active in life science efforts that may help mankind's pursuit to explore the cosmos and enable human life to flourish in space.
Quantum sensors applications include microscopy, positioning systems, communication technology, electric and magnetic field sensors, as well as geophysical areas of research such as mineral prospecting and seismology. Many measurement devices utilize quantum properties in order to probe measurements such as atomic clocks, spectroscopy, and super conducting interference. With new technological advancements, individual quantum systems can be used as measurement devices, interference, entanglement, and superposition.
As AI operates on the analysis of large datasets, the margin of error and inaccuracy in the process of learning has significant room for improvement — and quantum computing will allow us to significantly improve the algorithm's ability to learn and interpret. The truth is modern-day machine learning's extent of efficiency and success largely depends on the dataset it's given. The size of the dataset determines the quality of the results, so if the information isn't ample, the output won't be promising either. However, thanks to quantum computing's ability to go beyond the traditional binary coding system, it makes it possible to enlarge the data set, thus dramatically enhancing machine learning's capability.
A quantum algorithm is an algorithm that operates most commonly on a quantum circuit model of computation. A classical (or non-quantum) algorithm is a finite sequence of instructions, or a step-by-step procedure for solving a problem, where each step or instruction can be performed on a classical computer. Similarly, a quantum algorithm is a step-by-step procedure, where each of the steps can be performed on a quantum computer. What makes quantum algorithms innovative is they are expected to solve complex problems faster than classical algorithms because the quantum superposition and quantum entanglement that quantum algorithms exploit cannot be simulated on classical computers.
Quantum key distribution (QKD) is a secure communication method that implements a cryptographic protocol involving components of quantum mechanics. unique property of quantum key distribution is the ability of the two communicating users to detect the presence of any third party trying to gain knowledge of the key. This results from a fundamental aspect of quantum mechanics: the process of measuring a quantum system in general disturbs the system. By using quantum superpositions or quantum entanglement and transmitting information in quantum states, a communication system can be implemented that detects eavesdropping or hacking.
